A representative of each team should have an email with details but here are the basics:

Registration will be in Eads 102 and begin promptly at 8 am with an eye to rounds starting at 8:30. All rounds will be on the second floor. We will run an 8 team round robin with a rebracket into a top 4 and bottom 4. Finals will occur if necessary.

See you all then!

After a seven round, round-robin, Illinois A was undefeated followed by Northwestern (6-1), Morgan Venkus (5-2) and Illinois B (3-4). Illinois B advanced to the championship bracket despite being in a three way tie for fourth with Truman A and Mizzou based on points scored in mutual games. In the playoffs (The prelim games did not carry over.), Illinois A won all three of their games while the other three teams went 1-2. Illinois A won the tournament outright. The three remaining teams were reseeded to play for the second place trophy, again based on points scored in their mutual playoff games as the prelims did not carry over. The two seed (Northwestern) and three seed (Illinois B) played a half packet for the right to play the top seeded Morgan Venkus on a full packet. Northwestern won that 120-90. In the full game, Northwestern beat Morgan 265-165 to take second place. The two then left to drive back to Chicago together. It was kind of cute.

Thanks to all who attended and my superlative staff particularly Richard Yu who was an immense help and Charles Hang for running some necessary errands for me. We hope to see you all again soon!
