Wikipedia has some articles. She played Rose in the Doctor Who revival.
I cannot fault Jason for liking this one. Nor should you.

That makes sense seeing as you've been on here... when I tried to post district scores last year (using Katelin's account) this board was blockedLibertyMarie wrote: i'm subbing, and liberty has facebook and xanga blocked, but i'm signed in as a secretary and i can get into them.

I think I have more space on this hard drive I bought today than all the hard drives at home combined (=not including the other hard drives I have).

500 GB internal Seagate from Best Buy for $100. I bought an external enclosure along with a 160 GB drive last year so I'm using that same enclosure. The 160 will end up being an archive drive of iMovie projects. It's essentially what it is now but I have to shuffle a few files around to make it entirely archival.
I forgot about the DVR at home... I suppose if you counted that it would push the total hard drive space at home over 500 GB.

Thank you. Now everyone knows why I don't write current pop culture questions and limit myself to pop culture before 1990.

So we have had thirteen members on in the past 60 minutes and there has not been any discussion.
We really need to get some discussion going people.

Yeah, the board has been kind of slow lately, hasn't it? Hopefully the two posts I am currently working on will stir up some discussion.

So just cruious how many people had damage during the storm last night? I know that it covered a large area I could not tell if the northeastern and northwestern parts of MO got hit like we did in the southwest. So if you have any good stories please share.

No damage in Rolla, as far as I can tell... we had three separate tornado warnings but the worst of it seemed to miss us by a couple miles to the north or south each time.

I finally figured out how to be able to set ACL permissions on my laptop... it was bugging me that when I made a share it would be shared to everyone without a password. (By "figured out", I mean "Googled it"). Though I can understand why "Simple File Sharing" is enabled by default - there were multiple times at work where I would share something to a certain user and I wouldn't have the right permissions set the first time, and most users don't need to restrict permissions on stuff they share.
I'm also enjoying the fact that Remote Desktop Connection was included with Office for Mac 2004, so now I don't need to have my laptop directly in front of me to use it. Would have been nice to have known that when I had to use Visual Studio for CS 153.

i have a tendency to fall in love with characters from movies...recent examples include lydia from beetlejuice and deb from napolean dynamite. anyone (else) think this is weird?

Napoleon Dynamite was a worse waste of my time than the time I just sat there and did nothing for two hours.

I actually thought that was kinda funny...I highly doubt it was meant to be taken seriously at all, it should just be a non-issue...
No need to post something just to antagonize someone (without good reason, at least...if there is good cause, then I certainly advocate degrading someone as much as humanly possible).
