Time to bring back the "Rush Recognition Exposition"?DeckardCain wrote:Fixed your post for you.PaulGrant wrote:Every Rush album that has ever been produced
Sure, but this is probably the best album they've ever released (and that's saying a lot, considering the content and length of Rush's history). It's so well done, and so much better than pretty much everything else on the market. I expect to see something akin to the premiere of Rite of Spring when they play this live. (Wouldn't it be weird if that happened on the 100th anniversary of the premiere, but in response to Clockwork Angels instead of classical music??)DeckardCain wrote:Every Rush album that has ever been produced
At least one positive thing came out of our crashing in the medal rounds!Mr. Chekhov wrote:The Blues getting Ryan Miller AND Steve Ott, while dumping Halak/Stewart.
Thank you Doug Armstrong.
Quoted on account of Tuesday's wildcard game against an Athletics squad who went 2-5 against the Royals and have the worst post-All Star Break record for a playoff team since the All Star Game started.L-Town Expatriate wrote:THE ROYALS.
Of course, it should be noted that the A's starter in both of those wins is pitching on Tuesday (and also has a third post All-Star break win against the Royals when he was still with Boston), so hopefully the Royals will finally break through against him for the first time this season.L-Town Expatriate wrote:Quoted on account of Tuesday's wildcard game against an Athletics squad who went 2-5 against the Royals and have the worst post-All Star Break record for a playoff team since the All Star Game started.L-Town Expatriate wrote:THE ROYALS.
The winner of this series gets Anaheim (oh, sorry: the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.) Royals went 3-3 against them in the regular season. If Royals win that series and Baltimore outlast Detroit, then the Royals would also bring a 3-3 regular season against the Orioles. Could work out well for the Royals if the Tigers fall apart at Camden Yards and the Royals don't do what conventional wisdom expects them to do.Jeffrey Hill wrote:Of course, it should be noted that the A's starter in both of those wins is pitching on Tuesday (and also has a third post All-Star break win against the Royals when he was still with Boston), so hopefully the Royals will finally break through against him for the first time this season.L-Town Expatriate wrote:Quoted on account of Tuesday's wildcard game against an Athletics squad who went 2-5 against the Royals and have the worst post-All Star Break record for a playoff team since the All Star Game started.L-Town Expatriate wrote:THE ROYALS.
-edit (x2)-
Then again, Shields got the win inbothone of his starts against Oakland and the Royals won the other game he started as well.

Seconded, though I think watching them this season has taken a year or two off my life. I'm surprised Mike Matheny has any hair left.NDbulldogalumni wrote:Cardinals baseball

True. Here's hoping for the same end result.scphilli wrote:Oh this is nothing compared to 2011.DeckardCain wrote:Seconded, though I think watching them this season has taken a year or two off my life. I'm surprised Mike Matheny has any hair left.NDbulldogalumni wrote:Cardinals baseball
