The Hickman Academic Team invites your school to participate in the Kewpie Academic Tournament VI on February 23, 2019 in Columbia, Missouri. We are using a 6-person limit for the rosters of each team at this tournament. If you have more players who are interested in attending, we encourage you to sign them up to play on an additional team from your school.

We will be using NAQT Invitational Series #181. It is your responsibility to ensure that your team has not previously heard this question set and will not compete in any other tournaments using this set. At the time of this announcement, this set is also assigned to these other Missouri tournaments:
  • Kickapoo on December 1, 2018
  • Orchard Farm on March 16, 2019
  • North Kansas City on March 30, 2019
If you have attended or are planning to attend any of these tournaments, your team is ineligible to participate in this tournament. Question set assignments are subject to change at any time; a list of tournaments using this set is available on NAQT's website.

This year we are planning for an 18-team field, but will expand to 24 teams if teams and staff are available. Teams will be entered into the field on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee is $75 for each team and a $5 discount for one fully functional 8-person buzzer system per school.

To register for the Hickman Academic Tournament VI, please email Kathleen Wells-Morgan at kwellsmo@cpsk12.org with the name of your school, how many teams you wish to enter, and if you plan to bring a buzzer. We would also appreciate any staff you can offer. Let me know if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing your team in February!
