Patriot Academic Tournament IV (01/27/2024)

Dear Coaches,

On behalf of the academic team of Parkway South High School, my assistant coach Allison MacDonald, and our tournament assistants Jacob O'Rourke & Sean Phillips, I, Scott Degitz-Fries, am pleased to announce the fourth annual Patriot Academic Tournament brought to you by Parkway South High School, a varsity level event to be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Parkway South HS is located at 801 Hanna Rd., Manchester, MO, 63021.

I will be serving as the Tournament Director for this event. We will be using IQBT’s Regular Season Set #4. This set is currently scheduled to be used at Nevada HS on March 23rd. We would love to see you at Parkway South for PAT IV!

The fee structure for the event is as follows:

-Flat $10 fee per team regardless of letter designation.
-Additional $70 for a first team and $60 for each subsequent team.
-$10 discount for each buzzer system
-$15 discount for providing each qualified moderator
-$10 discount for providing each scorekeeper.

The initial field cap will be 18 teams but we may be able to expand if we have enough interest and can find the staff. Please limit your rosters to no more than six players per roster. If you have more kids, don't hesitate to add another team.

Instead of emailing me, all registrations should be made using this form.
1st - 4th place teams will receive a plaque and the top 10 individuals in preliminary rounds will receive a medal.

We've expanded the field to 24 teams. Therefore, Webster Groves, Warrenton, Parkway North and SLUH's first team have been admitted into the field from the waitlist.

The field has been expanded to 36 teams! Therefore, SLUH B, New Haven, Bowling Green, Iberia, Crocker, St. Pius X (Festus), Washington and Hannibal have all of their teams in the field.

Round 8 is underway. Currently, Parkway West A, Webster Groves A, Parkway Central A and Oakville are deciding who in the top superplayoff bracket will be taking home the first place trophy.

Parkway West A went undefeated throughout the day to claim the title for the fourth Patriot Academic Tournament! Webster Groves A, Oakville, and Parkway Central A rounded out the top 4 of the tournament.
