Quad 1... all I know is we beat Excelsior Springs, Hickman Mills, and Raytown South. There are 16 other schools participating in Quads.

Basically, we are 3-0 and have scored 1095 points. I'll update the record thread once Quads are all over.

I think next week's is at Park Hill for us. I saw the sheet but didn't bother to look at who we were playing (or barely glanced at it and don't remember).

quads are dumb to much off time. I like how the KCI does it. Mondays and Thursday night matches JV and V one school each.

Yeah and if you go to a lot of regular tournaments they're definitely worthless... because they're a week apart, we have to count them as 4 individual tournaments.

Quad 3 was postponed because of the weather.

At quad 2, we went 2-0. Tonka didn't bring a Varsity team, so we got a win for it and our points were averaged. I think our official Quad 3 result is 3-0, 1208 pts, meaning our overall total so far is 6-0, 2303 pts.

JV is 4-2, 1550 pts.

that's not to bad (for jv that is). i figured we were around there. i would like to say that we would go 3-0 next time but we can't seem to break that little barrier.

If you do go 2-1, I predict you will lose to Blue Springs South because you lost to the host school both times.

Let's look at our tournament... Blue Springs South went 1-2. Ray-Pec didn't attend, so I don't know how they're doing.

Oh yes, I forgot... Lee's Summit North WON our JV tournament...

On your questions, remember that.

Don't predict scores unless it's a DEAD GIVEAWAY, like smearing West Platte or getting smeared by Dorman.

i wrote that set of questions. that was a lot of fun as well. i have been told that i am not allowed to write any math questions next year though. (bummer, i had some good problem stat questions cooked up)

Quad 3:

Liberty 445, Blue Springs South 55
Liberty 410, Lee's Summit North 235
Liberty 385, Ray-Pec 90

Round Total: 3-0; 1240-380

Quads 1-3 total: 8-0, 3140 - accounting for the bye at Quad 2, the quad placement result is 9-0, 3543 pts

JV went 2-0, 565-410. (Ray-Pec had no JV), so the quad placement result is 3-0, 848 pts.

Quads 1-3 total for JV: 7-2, 2398 pts.

2nd Varsity Round was a disaster. The first two questions of the second quarter were exact copies of questions in the first quarter. The moderator went through them before continuing and there were 2 or 3 more that were duplicates. Then when we got to the fourth quarter, another 6 or so were duplicates from the same game.... ridiculous. I hope they never buy from them again (I think it's Answers Plus)

Top 4 teams in each advance to quad finals at Oak Park next Wednesday. We're obviously in, and I'm pretty sure JV will make it.

Mark, I can only assume coach(es) complained about your math questions on account of some of those questions going under "problem stat" as opposed to "Prob and Stat".

B)

Definitely sounds like Cory Schneider was a one-man force at Ray-Pec. That ought to be an easy conference for Kearney and a just as easy district for Raytown South.

I wonder if Lee's Summit JV will be making up the force of their district team. For the Tigers' sake, they better...

They keep winning JV. Now they should start hearing varsity questions. Given the cushy status of District 7, where the only threats are Lee's Summit North and Raytown South, Lee's Summit should fare well, and with the addition of one or two great JV players, they could reach the finals and maybe state.

Wow, we were abysmal that night...and some of that blame certainly falls on me.

It just looks so much worse now that Jeff has posted our results...ouch.
