She was sentenced February 29 to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation after pleading guilty to one count of reckless driving.
Steeper fine by $9.50 should have been in order ... just sayin.

New York Philharmonic in North Korea, playing From the New World Symphoney by Antonin Dyvorack, An American in Paris by Gershwin, and another that I fell asleep during cause it was wonderful.

Also, PBS's The complete Jane Austin is amazing, much more helpful than the books.

Firefox 3 - If you haven't tried it yet... you should. I actually switched from Safari only about a month ago, thanks to discovering how great add-ons make Firefox. I really don't know why I didn't switch earlier; Safari has several things that are annoying (no popup blocker white list?!?!?!).

The Adblock Plus add-on is great at blocking ads.

I also use the NoScript add-on to disable javascript unless I need it, but most people probably wouldn't want to deal with it.

I'm also a big fan of the GMarks add-on, which replaces the bookmarks menu with a menu of my Google Bookmarks, so I always have my bookmarks wherever I go.

Gas going down 20 cents within a week (yes, you read right... DOWN 20 cents), especially surprising since when they went up to 3.89 a couple of Thursdays ago it took it until Monday or so to come down more than a penny or two. The prices are incredibly fluid here in Wichita.

Of course, if oil goes up a buck it'll probably shoot back up to $3.89...

(I'm sure some of you are probably dealing with higher prices... Wichita's among the cheapest cities in the country, though Missouri itself outside of KC/STL is usually the cheapest state)
