The winner of Super Bowl XLI will be a certain team from a city that starts with a "C" and ends with an "O", said sports team known as, DA BEARS.

I have to agree, unfortunately. I have to hope Kansas City plays like the team they can be (and have been at good times this season) and not like the team that has a tendency to fall apart in the second half. Our defense HAS to step up. Another blocked punt by Pollard on special teams or a run back for TD by Dante wouldn't hurt either. If they can make it past Indy, I might change my vote, but they've taken it to us the last couple times we've met them in the playoffs.

As for the Bears, I see them probably making it to the Bowl DESPITE Grossman (because of their defense), but they can't have another melt down like they did against Green Bay.

Just watched Trent slip and Tynes shank a chipshot.

Kansas City is going to get shutout, 41 to 0.

Unfortunately it's the best game I've seen in HD... considering we just upgraded to an HD cable box on Thursday.

Well, we can't blame this one on the defense! They did as much as you could ask them to do. They had to be dead tired as long as the Chiefs offense put them on the field. I know we had trouble early in the season with Willie Roaf calling it quits, but I thought our O-line was still suppose to be decent. And this was against the worst run defense statistically in several years according to the commentators.

I was pretty surprised with several aspects of that game... it was like it was being played in bizarro world. At any rate, it didn't hold a candle to the Cowboys/Seahawks game.

Yes. New Orleans was my pick to win the NFC, but I'm not too sure Philly won't take them down. I'm still going with the Chargers though.

Please tell me you guys really didn't think SD would win that game.... With Marty being Marty and Tom and Bill being Tom and Bill.

Now for the betting side of things Marty was 5-12 going into this game... Tom and Bill 11-1 and 2-1 underdogs

So lets look at this in a boxing match I want you to pick the 5-12 fighter while I get the 11-1 one plus 2-1 odds. Anyone want to take that bet?

BTW not a big Pats fan but I love me some Belichick

You took that boxing analogy from Bill Simmons.

I must win... I'm the only one who voted for the Colts! (Of course, I just voted seconds ago)

That first quarter was great...

And I (may) feel sorry for people who rented a huge HDTV just for the Super Bowl... I'm sure you could see every single raindrop in great detail though. If anybody actually saw it in HD, how much did the rain cancel out the clarity of the game?

I think the Colts should be sporting and offer Grossman a share of the Super Bowl money.

this super bowl was such a waste of my life. a mere two commercials made me laugh a lot, and both of them involved computer-animated animals. the commercials were soooooo few and far between. and prince--wtf?? i'd take justin and janet any day. (aww, i love justin...he and britney need to get back together.) dude, i only know ONE prince song, pretty sure it's his most well-known, and he doesn't even have the decency to sing IT?? (i did appreciate the appropriateness of "purple rain," though.)

edit: OOOH i just thought of another prince song i know. but he didn't sing it, either.

I loved the Bud Light commercial with the "rock, paper, scissors".

"But I threw paper...."
"I threw a rock."

Watched the 'Bowl at a Country Club (ohn0es NFL, a Mass Out-Of-Home Viewing!) on an HDTV... May or may not have been an HiDef broadcast tho... Joplin is pretty backwards. The rain looked SUPERB IMO.
