That must have been a good game. NKC's basketball sucks. I would be ashamed to post our scores.

Amends By-Law 323 by separating wrestling and basketball, and moving the first allowable practice date for the basketball season one week later, from Monday of standardized calendar week #18 to week #19, and moves the first allowable contest date one week later, from Monday of standardized calendar week #21 to week #22.

Goes into effect next season.

The Sarcoxie girls only put up one point in the second half on Monday Night.

I was busy talking during the guys came so I can't tell you if it was a game similar to the girls game.

I thought we won about 4 or 5 three seasons ago. Yes, the glory days have gone in recent years, but I think we will win a few more this year.

I cannot do simple math, three years ago would be my 8th grade year not my freshman year, yes we won about four that year. I do think we will do fine this year we have height and the heart on the team. We have gone along way from my freshman year and now those freshman are juniors and I agree we will be fine.

Wow, I don't remember ever hearing about it. Usually news like this gets all the way around the state, which makes me more surprised never to have known

:(

Might I ask who it was? Maybe the name will ring a bell...

Fordland had done very well for several seasons before Jeremiah passed away (State Championship in '98 by class 1 record margin I believe, unbeaten '99 season until state championship loss that came down to the wire, a transition year or two after senior class graduated, then a district championship and runner-up season if I remember correctly, in class 2), but his loss really affected the team and there has been turnover in coaching every season since.

District foe and cross-county rival South Iron apparently beat Valley by 30+ tonight. Not good news.
