Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
Field updated!
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
Field is updated. Quite a few teams are interested in the remaining spots with only a few weeks to go. Please register as soon as you can so I can get a better handle on field expansion! Very excited for what looks to be an extremely diverse field!
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
Field is almost full! When the wait list begins, I am reserving the right to move up teams providing moderators. I can probably expand to 16 or 18 but only with sufficient staff.
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
The field is now full. Let me know if you are interested in being wait listed. I am very keen on expanding this awesome field, but I will give priority to teams who can provide qualified moderators.
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
After assessing the situation, I am confident in expanding the field to 14 teams. That means that we have, once again, one spot open! If we stay at 14, I plan to do a full round robin followed by advantaged final if necessary.

Field is now full.
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
After a full round robin that but for some technical issues and a team trying to play in the wrong room, we finished the round robin by 6:20 with a circle of death. Seeded on ppg, Illinois A is playing Mizzou on a full packet for the right to play WUSTL in a winner take all final. Thank Cardea the Roman Goddess of hinges that Penn added the fifteenth packet.
Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
Illinois beat WUSTL 360-325 to end 15 rounds of maximum fun!

Re: Penn Bowl at WUSTL (10/25)
Now that I seem to have regained the ability to speak in complete sentence, some additional thoughts:
First I want to say it was truly an honor to host such a large and diverse field. A big part of the reason I was so keen on doing a full round robin was so teams could hit people that they usually wouldn't and it seems to have worked as intended. Thank you all for approaching the end of the day as exhaustion was creeping in with good humor and a positive outlook.
Second I want to thank my great staff: the indefatigable Gordon Arsenoff who read all 15 rounds, Jacob O'Rourke, Tyler Schlichenmeyer, Andy Walz, Nick Bergeon, Peter Kahn, Sam Haynes, Chris Kirk, Marshall Mullins, Alice Liu, Will Mason, and Vinay Penna. You guys kept yesterday on time and but for a protest here and a team playing in the wrong room there we would have been early. I cannot thank you enough for your Herculean efforts and generosity of time.
I think all corrections to stats have been made. Any further errors please pm me.
This was a blast guys and I look forward to doing this next year!
