Truman State University is pleased to announce that we will be mirroring the Western Invitational Tournament, a packet-submission tournament edited by Berkeley, along with Auroni Gupta and Jarret Greene and Jasper Lee of Ohio State, on April 6, 2013. I apologize for it being the week before ICT, but that was the only date that would work for us.
$120 Base Fee
$10 Buzzer Discount
$10 Per 200 miles traveled (one-way as determined by Google Maps)
$10 Staffer Discounts
I highly encourage teams to bring moderators and buzzers, since that will help the tournament to run faster. We will provide staffers with a lunch (and maybe a breakfast too). If you are paying with a check, please be sure to make it out to “Academic Competition Organization.” Also let me know if you need an invoice to have your business office pay us.
This tournament is going to be held in Baldwin Hall, which is where we held SCT and QUARK. We'll be meeting in the Little Theatre (Room 176) in the morning.
This tournament is packet-submission. If your team has a player that played a regular, collegiate, academic quizbowl tournament before September 1, 2011 on it, then you will be required to submit a packet.
