I like her, too! i was just, first of all, sad that it wasn't amy adams, and secondly, i'm trying to avoid wicked because i'm seeing it for my birthday and i'm afraid i'm going to be REALLY sick of it by then...hahaha. so far it hasn't been going so well for me!!! on friday i saw bewitched (which features kristen chenowith), on saturday i saw enchanted (idina menzel), and then yesterday was more kristen chenowith, and singing!!!

(i saw wicked twice last semester, is the source of my worry about being sick of it...)

Marie, are you hooked on the fabulousness that is Pushing Daisies too?

And to add to the thread: my performance in my Oscar pools. OUCH OUCH OUCH, I'm too tender to endure that much corporal punishment!

Kristin Chenoweth is somewhat evil. She was good in Wicked, but she just played herself (like she always does). She can wear a bit thin (Idina Menzel wanted to kill her when they were doing Wicked together). She isn't as orange as she used to be, though.

I can't believe I'm talking about these people...don't ask why I know so much about them, either.

hahahahaha

No, I'm not familiar with Pushing Daisies! All I'd seen of Kristen Chenowith before this weekend was (the Wicked recording and) some gosh-awful made-for-tv version of The Music Man with her and Matthew Broderick...lol

and any sleep deprivation I experience at night is caused by oversleeping in unnecessary naps after class... wait... that's the complete opposite of sleep deprivation - wanting to go to sleep but not being able to. I'm actually probably managing to get more sleep than the vast majority of college students this semester.

Class at 9, when you haven't been to bed before 5 for at least 3 straight nights

:(

I think I need better sleep habits...perhaps my afternoon naps need to return. I'm tired (haha, pun...) of getting less than 4ish hours of sleep for too many days in a row.

Yeah it's been raining for a little over a day straight now... Schuman Park is flooded. Our basement's still fine, surprisingly enough. It can stop anytime now...

So apparently the Gasconade has flooded a lot of places, including the US-63 bridge between Vichy and Vienna. Looks like I may have to take a bit of a detour to get home tomorrow.

Having a rainout on Opening Day when your team is up 5-1 and probably need about a half hour to 45 minutes to make the darn thing official.

People crazy enough to vote against a bond issue to send a message to the administration, which only winds up causing even more overcrowding and a lack of desirability to where superintendents stocking up on spirits for a New Year's party isn't the least of the district's problems.

Also, the bond issue passing with a paltry (yawn) 78% yes margin.
