Did he actually say anything original, or was it more of the "stay the course" BS?

He was a lot more somber about Iraq than he has been in the past, and showed some willingness to cooperate with the Dems. I was pleasantly surprised with it.

agreed. it's really not worth watching...it's so broken up by applause that it's hard to piece what he's saying into an actual message. you're much better off reading the trasncript later....dirtybird06 wrote: I am not going to lie at all......I had MUCH better things to do.
(i didn't watch this year's, but i have watched a few in the past. i'm currently about halfway through reading last night's transcript.)
