Well we do have a topic about this already....... Anyway, I didn't bring the cord today, and you will probably be gone tomorrow when I leave.... Let me see if I can take one from work, we only have 500 lying around.

well then I can't help you there... thought you said it was a desktop one. Best I would be able to do for you is take it home and tear it apart to see if I can find out what is wrong... however I can't promise it will get back to you in one piece... do you have a model number BTW? I can check on the net to see if I can find anything out about it. How old was the laptop.

Okay, nevermind about it. My laptop is a dinosaur anyway. I got it in sixth grade.
