IRC practices

Post by octo » Thu Dec 02, 2010 7:51 pm

Is anyone interested in doing practices on IRC again, and if so, what day/time? I can read some, though I'd like to play some too so hopefully we could switch off or something.

I'd participate, especially if some of these occurred during winter break.

I think I can join in during break (my last final is on December 22, no free time guaranteed before that). Generally speaking, any weekday besides Friday is good for me.

Yeah, I'll be on a while, I imagine. Sabrina and Max should both be fine. Ikshu, what time exactly is your math class?

Hey guys, aren't we all being a little silly? If we are all online disputing times, why not have something in about 5-10 minutes?

How exactly does an irc practice work? It sounds like a lot of fun, and I'd like to come along.

Furthermore, glee is a perfectly adequate reason to miss an hour of quizbowl, particularly with all that's going on this season. :D

Click on chat in the top right hand corner when you're logged in, that's the easiest way. It's self-explanatory after that.

I'd be willing to start this again. Even if we didn't get enough people, we could do a shootout or something.

For those who still care, this is going to happen on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, starting this Monday, the 28th of February. It will start around 8 and probably last for a couple hours. If no one else volunteers, I can read every game.

For the heck of it, let's make it Thursdays and Fridays as well. Not guaranteeing I can read that whole time, but having this nightly would be pretty cool and we'd all be the better for it.

High schoolers (Ikshu, Max, Dylan, Aojia) defeat Charlie Dees on ACF Nats packet 225-170, with 10 points on a bonus from Kent.

I agree, especially since they are becoming wildly populated thanks to random Ladue people showing up. So, this is now going to happen Monday-Friday around the same time. Show up!

I'd be up for doing something this evening at like 7 or so; I could read a few games unless someone else showed up who wanted to.
