Rankings (4/12/04)
Those seem pretty good from what I know. I still do not think Lexington deserves a ranking from what I have seen, but they are pretty good every year. If you could rank the top 10 teams regardless of class, who would they be? And what teams, if any, do you think would qualify as sort of dark horses this year at state?

Yea, I really like those rankings, they seem fairly accurate.
Some possible dark horses: Rock Bridge. In the morning at the Mizzou Tournament November 2nd, they didn't have their two or three strongest players, so they were seeded sixth. But after lunch, they beat us by 20 or 30 points in the quarters when we were ranked third. They went on to win that entire tournament (Savannah and Eureka were both there....). They beat at least one of them.
Also, Kirksville. I'm really fearing them if they get to state. They are in the same district as Rock Bridge, I think. I remember at the JV state tournament last year, they beat us by more than 70 points in the semis...Tim Carroll on their team is ungodly fast at math. They won first at JV last year, so I don't see any reason why their Varsity team this year would be bad.
Hey, this is great. This board has really come alive. Let's keep it up.

(Everyone else, I hope you've noted this thread started in APRIL; it's not the new poll!)
