If you want to blame anybody, blame Tracy. He was there with his nose in a book. And so was Paul, but I doubt he would've been much help or was in on the project.

Hey, I helped speed up the All-State sorting process as all four classes were due at the same time. It was Don Arni, me, and some other coach whose name I don't remember but he's the new MACA president, IIRC. Stop making fun of me, Bill!

Shawn Logan from Smithville is the new MACA president. I wouldn't have known that had he not been from Savannah and the first purchaser of Maverick Questions.

Thanks, Melissa. I'm just trying to be a nice person looking for another nice person who is also smart and attractive. At least you don't make fun of me like Bill and the others do.

No, but on this board you insulted my question-writing ability and my playing ability as well as implying that I'm a psycho (which I am not).

Yeah, and I don't think "meeting" can be defined as asking a person in passing what college they're going to. And then telling them they should go to MU. Meeting is saying, "Hello, my name is Jason, and you are? That's nice, how are you?" That's a meeting

And then talking about something in common.

I recall last year when Jason opened the front door for my grandparents and me, and then we brought up the previous night's episode of Joan of Arcadia.

Try this with a young woman (not affiliated with this board for fear of getting retribution from Rolla and/or Truman) and she might grow to enjoy your company.

That's sorta how my "meeting" with Jason went too. Andrew H and I were both standing looking at the standings (after lunch, I think) and he walks up ans says something like "If you wanna play for Mizzou, we'd be happy to have you." And I'm thinking "Is that, is that, Jason?" Then I smelled a distinct scent of halibut and my suspicions were confirmed

EDIT: In three minutes, there've been several posts. The "too" I was referring to was to Melissa's experience

No, but wearing my Nationals hat all night probably corrupted my Midwestern thinking.

Nats as in Nationals. They actually have an eagle as their sweaty guy in a suit for the kids to get autographs from and pictures with.

I had to check the scores. And I left after 5 seconds after the "is that who I think it is" phase.

Mind you, I had no idea what any of you looked like (I wasn't at state last year)

Well, Jeff, as I helped sort out the All-Staters, I'll tell you there were two people who averaged 5.33 and two more who averaged 5.0 (I think), so you literally did just squeak in. Anyway, enjoy your team and individual medals; you earned them.

Haha it's all because of Princess Diaries and Julia Roberts.... hahahahahaha that's quite pathetic.

TRYING! Just copy and paste the durn thing! The first minute is really funny. The rest is the political stuff you won't ever see in the US because twits like Rupert Murdoch and Sumner Redstone think Americans have only have an attention span of 30 seconds.

It was weird, some people knew me who I didn't know. They just . . . knew me. Sorry, I know I'm not making much sense, it's late and I've driven over 6 hours the past two days.
