Post 2015-16 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS
This thread will list conference tournaments for the 2015-16. There are (roughly) 74 activities conferences in the state; a string of posts that will follow, listing conferences in alphabetical order. This information is far from complete (and perhaps far from accurate), with schools shifting conferences, adding/dropping programs, and of course who's reading what. To the surprise of few, some of these conferences will have no tournament in place let alone teams competing. (Also, some of these conferences might not have MSHSAA members.) Corrections and information are welcome.

Conferences will be grouped in quote form:
Generic Missouri Conference wrote:
Schools with teams (Schools without teams or not competing)
Date of tournament (range/series of dates if duals)
Host or organizer of tournament
Format: MSHSAA, National, other; whether tournament or duals
Question provider:

Additionally, if a thread is started where results are posted/discussed, I will include a link.

Here goes…

Kevin, NAQT has you listed as also using their MSHSAA-formatted conference set starting approximately November 1st. Is this a different contest than the GAC?

Yes. Those are the Tuesday nights league. There are some schools participating in the Tuesdays that aren't in the GAC (Lutheran St. Charles & Christian).

I am the new coach for Helias in Jefferson City. I looked through the conference assignments and quite possibly missed it, but didn't see Helias listed. Could you let me know which group we are in. Trying to get my ducks in a row. Thanks.

Affirmative. Jefferson City, Hickman, Rock Bridge, Battle, Douglass, Tolton, and Harrisburg also have no conference affiliation.

Today's EMO tournament has been postponed to a later date. Because of an active manhunt along I-70 in Montgomery County, at least two EMO schools have been on lockdown all day today, and others would have needed to travel through the search area to reach the tournament in Elsberry.

CAC was last night, and I mean night. The last game wrapped up at 10:04p. (The seven-school conference couldn't get started until 3:30.) Pilot Grove completed a sweep of their new conference foes to win the CAC title - the 24th consecutive conference title for the Tigers. The hosts Sturgeon were second, and New Franklin took third.

Individual scoring leaders:
Kale Day (Pilot Grove) 52
Amelia Martinez (Sturgeon) 43
Isaac Weisner (Madison) 38
Jack Vaughn (Sturgeon) 34
Kale Harris (New Franklin) 34
Karsyn Kraus (Pilot Grove) 31
Brodie Niemeyer (Cairo) 27
McKenzie Fenton (New Franklin) 25
Zach McAdams (Cairo) 24

Avery Enterprises was the question provider.

Tri-County North took place Saturday at Meadville. The double-elimination tournament was seeded based on four round-robin triad matches. Green City went a perfect 12-0 through the conference schedule, defeating Meadville twice to win the conference championship.
