Live scoresheets

Missouri finishes 10-6

SATURDAY:
Round 1: Missouri 370, Delaware 130 -- Missouri was down 120-20 after 5. After a timeout, MO got 8 of the next 9.
Round 2: Missouri 400, Kentucky 115
Round 3: Missouri 410, Georgia 85
Round 4: Missouri 260, Massachusetts 195 -- Missouri trailed early, taking the lead on TU 3 and losing it on TU 10 to trail at the half 85-75. In the first half, 3 tossups went dead, and MO had 3 negs. In the second half, MA increased their lead before MO tied it after 16. MO took the lead on 17 and was leading by only 5 going into 19. Going into final tossup, score was 230-195, and MO converted to win an intensely close game.
Round 5: BYE
Round 6: Missouri 390, Michigan 85
Round 7: Ohio 280, Missouri 175 -- Missouri led after 1, then trailed until tying the game after 7. Then Ohio got 8 of the next 9 tossups to basically put the game away.
Round 8: Missouri 325, Virginia 240 -- MO down 80-0 after 3, then got the next 4 to lead 120-75; led 155-125 at the half. MO had 30's on 5 consecutive bonuses heard to help extend their lead, and clinched the win after getting tossup 18.
Round 9: Missouri 435, Tennessee 80
Round 10: Florida 235, Missouri 190 -- Florida with 11 tossups over 7 for Missouri. Trailed after tossup 2 and never recovered.
Round 11: Maryland 330, Missouri 190 -- Tied at 60 after 4, MD got the next 7 tossups for a huge lead.
Round 12: New Jersey 275, Missouri 240 -- Missouri led 250-125 after 14; MO negged 15 and 16 and NJ converted the last 6 tossups.

SUNDAY:
Round 13: Texas 445, Missouri 135 -- tied after 2, but Texas got the next 4 tossups to start building their big lead and kept going from there.
Round 14: California 305, Missouri 160 -- tied after 2, but could never overcome the deficit that followed. Got as close as 30 points after 11 but didn't get another tossup until #17 when it was too late. Missouri had 6 negs.
Round 15: Missouri 345, Indiana 190
Round 16: Missouri 295, New York 160 -- several lead changes in the first half, but Missouri never gave up the lead after regaining it on #7.
Round 17: Missouri 300, Illinois 220 -- Missouri got 5 of the first 7 tossups to build a lead, Illinois got the next 3 to make the halftime score 155-90. Missouri got 5 of the next six, and then Illinois made a HUGE run to almost make their 75-point protest on tossup 12 relevant, going down to the last bonus.

Standard finals/tiebreakers procedure for top 4 afterward.

Sunday schedules for the top 6:

Texas (11-0): MO (7-4), NY (3-8), IL (9-2), NJ (9-2), VA (10-2)
Virginia (10-2) [losses to MO, MD]: BYE, IN (2-9), DE (3-9), FL (7-5), TX (11-0)
Illinois (9-2) [losses to OH, VA]: MI (0-11), NJ (9-2), TX (11-0), IN (2-9), MO (7-4)
New Jersey (9-2) [losses to CA, VA]: TN (5-7), IL (9-2), MI (0-11), TX (11-0), GA (3-8)
California (8-3) [losses to TX, VA, IL]: MA (3-8), MO (7-4), TN (5-7), MI (0-11), OH (7-5)
Missouri (7-4) [losses to OH, FL, MD, NJ]: TX (11-0), CA (8-3), IN (2-9), NY (3-8), IL (9-2)

I think it's still mathematically possible for Missouri to win, but that would require Missouri to win all 5 Sunday games, all but 1 of the above teams to finish round 17 with at least 4 losses, getting through a massive tiebreaker for all the 4 loss teams, and (if there's a 3-loss team) THEN winning 2 games in an advantaged final. We could also drop to the bottom half of the field with several losses, so there's still a lot to be played to determine final rankings.

Let's win some games tomorrow and get another top 4 finish!
