NKC is usually one of the best tournaments of the year. Is anyone going to make the cross-state trip?

Of course we're making the 15-minute trip down there.

Have you heard anyone else saying they are going?

I might have to go to the All State Orch auditions that day....so our going depends on whether not I really "have to" play violin or not. I definitely hope we go though.

Technically, I hope so. I e-mailed Coach Allen to see if I could help. I anticipate a yes, but he doesn't check his e-mail that often.

Jimmy, you really should try to make it. Coach Larry Allen from NKC runs Missouri's Panasonic team... you would be a huge part of the team and I'm sure Larry would want you on the team if he got to see you play again. (he already is most likely scouting you, as he was already very impressed at LSN I'm sure) Plus its great to have the competition, so forget the violin gig and come to NKC.

Hey now. All-state orchestra is not something to be taken lightly.

simpsons questions eh? excellent.

Yea I don't want to go to the violin thing, especially since I suck and won't make all state (and I don't really care about making it anyway)

the thing is, it might be required for me to get an honors grade in orchestra. I need to make sure.

yea, I definitely would like to go to panasonic, so I'm going to do whatever possible to try to go to NKC.

Thats the spirit. Yea I've sacrificed four years of honors grades for being in my school's concert choir, but its the price I pay. Hope to see you at NKC.

I am personally not going, as I am now a finalist for UMR's Chancellor's Scholarship, and the interview day is December 4. :( But then again, NKC isn't nearly worth as much as this scholarship...

Did you know that the Princeton Review says that Rolla has the most unhappy campus as it is a gigantic sausage fest? Female engineer is an oxymoron.

Jeff you should let us know when you get in town, we could show you around and such. As for david, rolla may be unhappy, but when you leave here you are set for life

I'm not bashing UMR's academic program, but it is definitely not a place to score hot chicks. However, it is home to the best pie in the world, "Slice of Pie." That stuff kicks ass.

If I recall, hasn't there been just two women in the history of UMR's ACO program? There's four on Truman's team this year alone.

One, how many women are enrolled at Truman, least compare percentages

Even at schools where women outrank men 2-to-1, College Bowl is still a male-dominated profession. Why else would tournaments feature packet rounds based on Maxim magazine?

so at a school where women out number mean 2 to 1 you have 4 girls on your team. where here guys out number girls 5 to 1. I think Mr. Hill your program has the problem with lack of women.

As I said, College Bowl is a male-dominated sport.
