FZW only had 2 players. Other commitments precluded a full time. Villa Duchesne had 3 players. All other teams had at least 4 players.

It was well run. The time for rounds was set at 50 minutes, meaning we went to lunch by 11:30.

Yay for Villa! :D This was a team of all-new freshmen that had never played before. I'm very happy with the point totals they posted.

Ditto. Are we waiting for someone with access to results/scores?
(Not blaming anybody, just wondering, since we're spoiled into usually having it done more promptly. This also brings up the question of whether at least one or two people from each active school know about/want to use this site...)

Congrats! It's always good to know that your school's program will continue to flourish after all the current players graduate. I know that's (somewhat) been a concern for us, since we have a grand total of one actively participating junior :(
Glad to see that freshmen and sophomores are up to the task of keeping the program going, though. It would be a shame for any team to completely disappear after some time.

I asked Mr. Sothers to e-mail all the scores to me. He has not yet. I assume he probably won't until tomorrow since it is Super Bowl Sunday. :)

It was very good competition. The questions were written at a very appropriate level.

Our playoff game was quite exciting. We were winning 180 - 170 after 3 quarters. Dylan (FZW) and Matt (CBC) were basically going toe-to-toe. Matt ended up with 15 questions (including the last two, which was enough to seal the deal); Dylan ended up with 12. On our team, Obasi had 3. On their team, Alex answered 1. Wish we could have had our own Alex there . . . . c'est la vie.

Go Colts! . . . isn't that Parkway Central's mascot?
