Post Post-Sectionals Poll
I know sectionals aren't until tomorrow, but I figured I would at least get this ball rolling. I will be running a top 10 poll for both the whole state and for each class (assuming I get the ballots). What I ask you to do is email me your list of the top 10 teams in the state, inclusive of all classes. Also, I will ask for your ballots of the top 5 in each class (as you feel comfortable listing). Send them to me in a straightforward list from 1 to 10. Ballots that are incomplete,* have tied teams, unreadable, comedic (in that its pretty obvious you aren't listing your actual top 10), somehow crazy, or have other major flaws will be sent back to you asking you to resubmit. Please follow these simple directions and everything will be fine. Email everything to charlie16@gmail.com - DO NOT send me facebook messages, messages on the board, or make posts here listing teams. I will say it here once, but anything that is not in my mailbox I will not count. Please send these by May 1st at 11:59 PM. Happy balloting!

So I've hardly gotten anything for this. I'll extend it to Wednesday at 11:59 PM to send them in to me. Please do not fall prey to the Genovese syndrome, because if you don't vote, there's no telling who will.

1. NKC
2. FHC-Not at MSHSAA state
3. Savannah- Not at MSHSAA state
4. Liberty- Not at MSHSAA state
5. Ladue
6. Eureka- Not at MSHSAA state
7. Parkway Central- Not at MSHSAA state

Does anyone notice the recurring theme? And the MSHSAA flaw?

There's something funny about how you guys can crank out these polls at a moment's notice after they're due...

Well, part of it is that I just can't remember which teams are good. If I see a list of the top teams, I'll be able to rank them from there, but pulling them out of my head... whoo. Hard work.

Meh, laziness.

I would like to see this list of top teams, not in a ranked order but maybe like in alphabetical order or maybe by region...I mean it's a different approach than the "top 10" list.

In case anyone's curious as to the final rankings for this poll (even if the last few are tainted by having been taken after state):

1/ NKC 10 + 10 + 10 + 9 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 69
2/ FHC 9 + 9 + 9 + 10 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 64
3/ Savannah 8 + 7 + 7 + 6 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 52
4/ Liberty 7 + 5 + 6 + 3 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 42
5/ PCH 6 + 8 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6 + 4 = 40
6/ Ladue 2 + 3 + 8 + 8 + 5* + 3 + 6 = 35
7/ FZW 5 + 6 + 4 + 7 + 2 + 2 + 0 = 26
8/ Eureka: 0 + 4 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 5 = 23
9/ Hickman 4 + 0 + 3 + 0 + 3 + 5 + 2 = 17
10/ Rock Bridge 3 + 0 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 7

Also Mentioned
11/ Clayton 0 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 3 = 5
12/ Truman 1 + 1 + 0 + 1 + 0 + 1 + 0 = 4
13/ Priory: 0 + 0 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 2

*Mentioned as second team tied for 5th, awarded 6th
