When is the tournament? Are they capping it or trying to break the record from a few years ago?

Next Saturday (October 21) as shown in the thread subtitle

There's always going to be a cap from now on; I think it was 16 and 16

I think the low turnout is because it's early in the year; hopefully the questions didn't scare teams off although looking back they were at too high of an obscurity level

Yes we are planning on going to TJ. We might send a JV to Liberty if we can get someone to take them.
=Edit=
As of today we haven't gotten a confirmation from TJ, so we may go, or we may not. We'll see in a couple of days. And I really doubt we'll send a jv to Liberty.

Yes, I'm in very bad need of a power cord.

And it's official on going to TJ.

Haha very funny <_< .

Anyway, are there scores and more specifics for the tournament? How were the questions?

A few factual errors in the history: The Beer Hall Putsch was in 1923, not 1924; Georgia was settled in 1733, not 1632. Other than that, I'd say OK.

What I'm really curious about is: How was Savannah looking? How was Terin playing? How was Smithville looking? Who got third?

I think every serious player likes to know what the competition is.

And I want to know if my prediction of Terin making a big jump in scoring is coming true.

I have decided that Quiz Bowl should be non competitive so I have decided to dedicate my life to raising chickens and sleep during all matches so that I can become closer to nature.
