This tournament was a lot of fun. Much thanks to everyone who showed up and staffed. also, comparing the stats for this with that of the actual tournament (which had some really upper echelon teams), it's clear that the MO teams have a lot of work to do, but actually we're not doing all that badly. ...

why do these mshsaa threads end up being some of the most active on the forums? this is almost not worth discussing save perhaps results if people care (though considering the accuracy of predictions, I dunno if results even matter). Hey so my coach can't go and I'm having difficulties finding a willing teacher to take us. Also, I don't think many people on my team can make this tournament anyway. I was wondering if there were any way I could play solo or something? Or just play on a team for my school without a teacher present?

Thanks for all the advice everyone. But I'm not going. For one, the teacher who was going to take us has a conflict. Also, the nationals for this is the same weekend as the World Quest nationals, so that makes going to this level pretty much a waste. And I looked at more old questions...ehh dubious ...

Well, I'm sitting out October due to debate. so I won't be present at SLUH either. However, after October, I'll be playing all the Quiz Bowl tournaments I can. So yeah, you can refer to Ikshu-less Clayton for a while longer. But that will end soon.
