For some reason this has been getting stuck on "Connecting to server..." I think I have a solution in place, but if this doesn't work, try the client here.

Chat Tips

  • You MUST identify yourself. If somebody asks you who you are and you do not identify within 30 seconds, you will be kicked from the room.
  • All board rules apply; in particular, no profanity or otherwise inappropriate comments. (full rules are here)
  • IRC does not allow spaces in usernames. If your selected username has spaces, only the first word will be used.
  • To change your name, instead of logging out and logging back in, you can type /nick NewName.

Commands to join other quizbowl channels

  • General quizbowl: /join #quizbowl
  • TriviaBot: /join #scobowl
